A while ago, we told you about pending changes at Integrow Health.
April was the month we migrated to our new e-shop. Now that the new e-shop is more or less stable, we are ready for the (much more daunting) physical move!
This coming weekend, we’ll be moving to new premises in the CBD of George. Those who’ve been to our idyllic li’l warehouse at Carmel, Victoria Bay will know it will be hard for us to adjust to Big City Life in the Metropolis of George. We’ll do our level best to keep the sunshine and wild smell of the ocean in our hearts as we trudge into town. Arno’s lunchtime surfing session will be a thing of the past (?), too. No more wetsuits and surfboards cluttering the entrance (sniff). We’ll have to get used to sitting in George peak traffic for 20 – 30 minutes a day. And there are no horses grazing outside our front door anymore.
But there are advantages, too. For one, we probably don’t need to wear steel-capped boots to work (at Carmel, there was so little space to move, we often stepped on each other’s toes). The new premises offer abou10x the space, compared to what we’re used to. We’ll need walkie talkies to stay in touch.
Our lab space will also increase, meaning you can expect more novel products coming soon!
Additionally, the new premises make it possible for us to have a front shop for the first time in more than a decade. This will take some time to set up, but once it’s ready to roll, we will let you know!
We are very grateful to Aramex George for making a truck available for our move. It’s been a mutually beneficial relationship for more than 15 years.
