If you’ve been an Integrow Health fan for some time, you will know we’re serious about what we do. We’re not in the business of selling supplements. We’re in the business of helping people find complete health again. At first glance, this may sound like marketing gobbledeegook, but we really go the extra mile to bring health wherever we touch people’s lives.
Anyone can sell Vitamin C at a discounted price. Integrow Health takes the effort to find a pure, non-GMO version of Vitamin C and sells it at a very affordable price. That’s one example of what we mean when we say “go the extra mile.”
Health is more than bodily health, although that is obviously important. We want every aspect of what we do, to be healthy and bring health. This includes our packaging.
One of our concerns is that our products come in plastic containers. This was born out of necessity, since plastic is so much cheaper and easier to come by than other forms of packaging. At least, we ensured that our containers are recyclable, even if they aren’t compostable.
Still, we have a Zero Plastic vision for our future and we slowly but surely inch our way towards that goal. And while we may never actually reach Zero Plastic, it is still better to try than to accept the status quo.
Technology has made major strides in eliminating plastic, or at least providing biodegradable plastic. We are constantly examining new options as they become available.
Towards the end of last year, we launched our Bamboo Pill Boxes. This 7 Day pill box makes it possible to prepack your pills for the week into an eco-friendly, plastic-free container. Each hole can handle about 8-10 pills, which is enough for most of us. The Bamboo Pill Box does not reduce plastic waste (you still need to fill it from somewhere), but it makes a quiet, aesthetic statement on the dinner table. Instead of having 8 bottles standing around your plate, you now only have one container to keep your vits together.
