Pure Pomegranate Reduction

A new and exciting addition to our range, our antioxidant-rich molasses brings depth, tang, and a touch of natural sweetness to your kitchen. Made from our own 100% pure, cold-pressed juice, our unpasteurized, non-irradiated, undiluted, nothing added, molasses is evaporated at low heat, preserving its antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. One single jar is the equivalent of 2kg’s of Pomegranates. It’s a thick, syrupy reduction bursting with pure Pomegranate flavour.

Widely used in Middle Eastern cooking, it is perfect for braai-marinades, salad dressing, potjies, glazes and drips. With a natural pH of around 3.14, it works beautifully as meat tenderizer in marinades. Our molasses is shelf-stable for up to a year unopened and can be stored in the fridge for up to six months after opening. Size: 180ml
